John P. McConnell
CEO
McConnell Golf, LLC was founded upon the fragile intentions of creating golf history in fall of 2003 when the promise to preserve Raleigh Country Club's role as local landmark and course's place as a milestone in golf history was made.

John was born and raised in Abingdon, VA and graduated from Virginia Tech in 1972. Co-founded Medic Computer System, Inc. in the 1980's and A4-Healthsystems in the late 1990's.

Christian Anastasiadis
Chief Operating Officer
Educated at one of Austria's finest Hotel and Culinary Schools; the Hotelfachschule in Bad Gleichenberg; Christian graduated with a Hotel and Restaurant Management degree in 1982.
Since 1991 his professional work experience has been solely concentrated in the private club field that included clubs in the St. Louis and Houston metropolitan area. Christian joined Raleigh Country Club, while a member-owned facility, in summer of 2003.
A significant component of his work at McConnell Golf centers on managing the fundamental values of the private club culture and leadership development that fosters the team-achievement concept. With his innovative approach and personal commitment to enhance membership value, he is not afraid to challenge "old rules" allowing new and creative attitudes to emerge.

Brian Kittler
Vice President of Golf Operations
Brian is a Class A member of the PGA of America and brings consideralbe knowledge of high-end customer service from his previous clubs such as Old North State Club, Wethersfield Country Club and the Emerald Golf Club.
Brian joined Raleigh Country Club as Head Golf Professional in 2004 and was promoted to lead the Golf Operations for McConnell Golf in 2006. Brian's mission is to consistently focus on those core deliverables that are associated with the McConnell Golf brand, providing McConnell Golf with the latitude to innovatively differentiate itself.
Brian is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University

Michael Shoun
Vice President of Agronomy
Michael Shoun graduated from East Tennessee State University with a BS in Education and Sport Science. Soon thereafter he realized that golf course maintenance was his calling, and attended Walters State to pursue a career in the turfgrass industry.
Michael graduated with a horticulture degree specializing in turfgrass management. Before serving as Director of Agronomy at McConnell Golf, Michael managed the turfgrass program at Warrior's Path GC, Governors Club and Raleigh Country Cub since 1999.
Setting standards unmatched by most golf courses and the challenges of maintaining those standards, truly guides his spirit.

Teresa S. Belote, CCM
Club Manager
Cardinal Golf & Country Club
Our most recent addition to the Cardinal & McConnell Golf team, Teresa brings an enthusiasm and knowledge of the private club industry which embodies the vision & mission of McConnell Golf. Upon receiving a Bachelor of Music degree from Converse College in 1988, Teresa's club management career began while attending graduate school at UNC-Chapel Hill. Her fifteen year tenure as Club Manager and Event Coordinator at the prestigious Hope Valley Country Club in Durham, NC (a classic Donald Ross designed course) is a testament to her commitment and talent. She received her Certified Club Manager designation (CCM) in 2002 and, through continued education and service in the Club Manager's Association of America, has been recertified through 2012. Joining us in January 2007, her organizational skills and extensive knowledge of event coordination and food & beverage trends have already proven to be an asset to the new Cardinal Golf & Country Club.
